About 3 weeks ago I had a free Sunday. Brittany and I decided we would round up a couple of models and have some fun. Our location was a house that her family friends are currently renovating. A fun location with old wall paper, tons of windows and lots of character. One of those places you would just love to keep as is just for photography purposes. But I will say that what they are doing for renos are looking great and this house will be amazing when they are finished.
Anyway, enough about that and on to the photography.
We had 3 models and stacks of clothes! It is fun just to get together and shoot with no pressure and no agenda. Here are a few shots of Loan. So beautiful! I don’t think it is possible to take a bad shot of this girl. Gorgeous inside and out! I love the pink dress with the pale green walls.

I would like to introduce Rachel Henschel. Rachel came into the studio a couple of weeks back for a quick business head shot.
She is a hair artist with Hair FX here in St Albert and she understands the need for keeping your business image current and professional. Hence coming into the studio for a professional portrait.
Rachel and I talked a little bit while she was here. She is a fun upbeat individual with a great sense of style. I really enjoyed talking with her about her work and her kids. She is also taking new clients!! So if you are in need of a new look for Christmas or New Years give her a call. Or maybe you just need a change! She also can accommodate walk ins. Ya, that part was for all you males out there that are all about the last minute.

Here is another great family I had the pleasure of working with this fall. There were so many!! And it always pleases me to know that so many people will be receiving some really great Christmas cards! Sometimes I have to wonder if the art of letter writing and card giving is dying out. But then each fall I am reminded once again, when my family sessions start planning the Christmas card, that the art is still here.
That walk out to the mail box is never really exciting. You never think anything about it really. I know the only thing that crosses my mind is which bill is in there waiting to be paid. But when you open the box and find those hand written envelopes who doesn’t smile! It is so nice to get something unexpected and personal.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and their cards!
As I am preparing to jet off to Vegas this weekend I find my mind wandering to back to August and my trip to NYC. I have been to Vegas many times. I have always had fun with late nights and shopping. There is certainly always something to see. I have had this same great time in many other cities around the world It wasn’t until my trip to NYC that I truly fell in love with a city. It is certainly a a place to behold. Friends had always told us it was indescribable and a place you just have to visit to understand. They were so right. It is hard to put words to it! You should just go visit. Anyway, as I get ready for this weekends adventure my mind is flooded with many great memories. Time Square, Central Park, The Met, NBC, the dozens of stops at pubs and restaurants which never disappointed! Ground Zero, Wall Street, amazing shows, being lost in the subway, and that awesome deal we got at the Plaza! Great times with great friends, something you should cherish always.

Vegas Baby!
A few weeks back I photographed 2 of the most huggable squeezable pooches around! Seriously, look at those faces. They really don’t make them sweeter than that.
Snickers and Chewbacca were brought to the studio by their very patient Dad for a surprise birthday session for their Mom. Which was great because I love being part of someones surprise!
They were so shy! But with lots of calm energy and a lot of duck treats we were able to get some great shots.
Thank you Sean for bringing them in! It was a great pleasure. You will have a hard time topping that birthday present next year. The cuteness factor of those faces alone will make it tough. You best start working on it now.
And Robyn, I hope your birthday was amazing!

Yes, this handsome little guy is gracing the pages of the blog once again. Nixon was back in the studio about 4 weeks ago for his 3 month session. Such an easy going little man. Awake one minute, sound asleep the next and then bam awake again. And not a fuss about it! He is definately a favorite.
See you in a couple of months for your 6 mth session!

We are having a Holiday SALE online. You can login to our client viewing section and select client login. With the user name gifts and the password gifts2011 you can login and shop.
Once you are in select the all photos in the gallery section on the left. Then add the image to the cart. There is only one image. From there view your cart and check out your options in the drop down menu.
We have such things as Gift Certificates in $100 amounts. Select as many as you like. You will then have to check out and fill your contact information in.
I know it sounds easy but sometimes things can be weird or tricky. If you run into a problems drop us an email and we will be glad you help you out. Or maybe you just aren’t that computer wise and would like to know more about the packages or order via email or phone.

We have had a few cute little pooches in the studio over the past few weeks. 2 such dogs were Sammy and Maggie.
I always love a pet session. Who doesn’t. I’m such a sucker for those cute little faces! With just the right look they have you wrapped around their little paw.
Although we were of to a shy start these 2 critters eventually warmed up to me and the studio. In no time they were posing sweetly. I guess they just had to realize I wasn’t the vet.
