It is graduation season! We still have appointments available for the class of 2012. Whether it is high school or university mark the occasion with a fun portrait session.  For those  that love outside portraits now is a great time to head outdoors in that beautiful prom dress.

Early this week I photographed a handsome Bulldog puppy! Just 4 months old. His name is Winston. And when you meet him you instantly fall in love. I don’t if it’s the wrinkly face or his sort of clumsy swagger. Maybe it is his cool relaxed personality. He’s in no hurry. But seriously he is the cutest guy ever! You just want to squeeze him.

I have once again had the honor of photographing the lovely Chloe Fulton. She is our Miss Teen St Albert for 2012!
I asked Chloe to give me a brief write up about her and what she will be doing with her new title. I’m going to give you a brief outline as well as ways to follower her Miss Teen endeavors in our community. I hope that you can all find the time to show Chloe some support.

About Chloe:
I am a grade 8 honors student at Vincent J Maloney Junior High School. I was crowned Miss Teen St. Albert – World 2012 last month. Throughout my coming year I will be attending many events around the city, getting more involved in the community, and inspiring young people to follow the Miss Teen Canada – World motto: “Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful”. My platform for both competitions is the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation. This foundation donates learning materials to schools in Canada who cannot afford them.

It was great meeting up with Kristin and Evan a few weeks back for their very first maternity session. Seems like just yesterday we were enjoying a warm summer day for their wedding. And now they are on to their next adventure!

Baby #1 is expected to arrive May 21st. Kristin is looking great and at the time had just under 2 months left to go. Hmmmm, where will that baby fit. Her belly is already so round!

I’m very excited for them! I’m also excited for the newborn session. Just one month left to go.
Boy? Girl? Only time will tell.

Miss Bianca was in the studio last week for her very first session. 3 weeks old. So sweet! She looks so peaceful. Hard to believe it took so long to get her to sleep when you look at these. I think she just really didn’t want to miss any part of her adventure. But in the end we won due to my secret weapon. She just couldn’t fight the sleep off any longer.

So I am having one of those crazy chaotic weeks. And in all the craziness I have been having a hard time deciding what to post about. To many choices! So I decided it would be about grandparents since we are approaching a weekend family will gather and also because I had the honor of photographing a very special lady yesterday. Me Mere, my husbands grandmother. She is 91 years old if you can believe it! She was full of laughs. I’m grateful to have had the time to spend with her and capture her beauty and her wise soul. Time moves far to quick! Make sure to capture some great memories of those special to you!
