It is a new year! Time for a fresh start. I’m starting off my first day back in the studio for 2012 by cleaning my desk, selecting a few competition images and trying to get a few marketing ideas ready to implement. I’m sure I am not the only one that feels this first week of January is a time for regrouping and creating order in the chaos that has resulted from the Fall and Christmas rush. It is time to wipe the slate and start over!
And now that my desk is almost clean I am starting the task of combing though my 2011 images. It is exhausting and fun to go through the images of last year. As I open each folder looking for those 4 specific images for competition I am reminded of many things. I have had a lot of fun and have met some great people over the past year. I am also reminded of some really great images! It might seem hard to believe but I do forget some of the shots I have taken. But in my defence  I  have shot 10′s of thousands of images over the past year.
Here is a little look at a grad session from July. This is one session I had forgot about. Which I find hard to imagine why for a couple of reasons. First off it is a male grad session. Guys are definitely the minority when it comes to grad sessions so you would of thought I would remember. It was also a very challenging session. Because he would of rather been anywhere else than having his portrait taken but it was for his Mom. So it was the typical male teenager session. Very little talking and getting the natural expressions was a little like pulling teeth.
