Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Recently I attended a photographer get together. We were talking about social networking and business. Part of the discussion was about personal details and sharing them with your clients and potential clients. I had never really thought much about it other than who would find my life interesting. Haha. Now that I have thought about it for a few days I think it might be fun to share a few random things about me. Let you into my head. Scary…..quite possibly. Haha, not really my life is pretty tame.
10 Random things about Jill

1. I love Starbucks! London Fog is the best thing invented. And just when you think it doesn’t get any better order it with soy and enjoy a slice lemon raspberry loaf with it. I’m happy just thinking about it.
2. I have 2 cats. Zoie and Maggie. They are naughty but I love them.
3. I’m shy.
4. Sarcasm is a service I offer. It comes comes free of charge and you don’t even have to order it.
5. I like cars. I’m not crazy into them like a boy. I can’t talk about all the details of the motor and such. But I like a car that has performance. This also leads me to tell you that I enjoy watching Top Gear.
6. My favorite movie of all time is “Saving Grave” A fantastic feel good British movie. If you stumble across it I recommend watching it.
7. I was married 10yrs ago this year in Scotland. Destination weddings are great!
8. I hate to be cold. My husband laughs telling me I will one day be wearing sweaters all summer. But seriously it has to be about 24 degrees for me to feel comfortable.
9. I like hand written thank you notes. Sure an email is great if that is what you have time for but it isn’t the same. Somethings will be lost to us one day as technology takes over.
10. I can listen to the same song on repeat for hours….or days. Yup, when I find a favorite I like to beat it into my brain. And I will still like it. It never gets old just replaced.

And here is a bonus

11. I can’t stand it when people just randomly text when they are with you. Working, hanging out or whatever the case is. It is fine to check a message but seriously unless it is serious news it can wait. Technology is great but I think it is teaching us to devalue our time with ours. Client or friend.

Enjoy,
Jill
